DISCO night at the Skate rink!

 Stuart and I are getting SIKED for Disco night.  Sam has an entire box of just 70's clothes for us to wear, and the boys have a super fun time picking out clothes.  I stick with my yellow skinny jeans and teased hair.  Just the dressing up part of the night was suuuuper fun!

 Stuart decided on Sam's yellow paisely bow tie and Garret wore the wig I got from last semester's opera at school.  Sam is looking good in his custom disco suit.  Sam is sooo good at skating by the way he can skate on just the two inside wheels if he wants!  It was a seriously fun night.  They turned down the lights at the rink and had crazy colorful lights going everywhere and a strobe light. 

Tandem biking

Shotguns and Rifles

Here we are at the shooting range at the Muddy Creek Ranch!

I learned to shoot both shotguns and rifles.  Both were super fun.  Sam is a really good shot, too. :)  Steve even let me fire this HUGE gun at a tiny water botttle that was 150 feet away (I think?).  It was awesome.   

 

 We also got to shoot at clay pigeons.  This was definitely my favorite part!  I was super surprised when I actually hit a few.  I felt so accomplished and it is quite relaxing too!

                                        Sam helped me out a lot and even taught me how to load and unload a gun.  It was such a fun weekend and such a fun day.  :)

The Muddy



         

We went to the Muddy Creek Ranch in July it was super fun!  I felt like such a cowgirl ;)



 Sam worked on this roof with his dad Steve and Uncle Todd. They were out there all the time and did a really good job!  Soon there will be three bunkhouses up at the Muddy.

 Here is Sam being awesome on top of the roof, with a slat of wood to lean on to keep from sliding off! 

 Mel always made us really delicious food.  Here we are on our last day eating omelettes in the cook-house. :)

                                                                                                                                                                                             We went horseback riding almost everyday.  Sam was very patient with me and I did get a little better by the end.  Here is Sam looking great on the back of Ruby.
