Yay for expectant mothers parking spots!

 After registering almost everywhere, we have gotten tons of goodie bags!  Here I am with our first baby merchandise.

Painting!

Ran into a lady at home depot who is opening a new salon and wanted to paint her space.  She wanted to do some effects to match her business card and had no idea how to do it.  She contracted us out and I loved it!  It's not every day someone asks you to paint their wall. ;)  It was extremely fun, and she happens to be a masseuse so yay for my massage coming up!

First I drew the design in pencil and then we masked it all off with blue tape.

 Next we sponged using a faux glaze mixture.

 This part was fun after taping for 2 and a half hours!

 Tape off, and now I am filling in the design with the aqua color.

Wednesday morning and we are ready to paint again!  (Paint pants from my friend from work, they were loose haha.)

 Sam was there the whole time and was very helpful- I don't know how I could have done it without him!  Here is the finished product! :)

St. Patty's Day

Here we are dressed in green for St.  Patty's Day!  Two handsome people and one growing bump!~

When one and one makes three...

You guessed it... We're pregnant!  I am 14 weeks along.  I decided to take my first "sideways" pic in my new maternity shirt the other day.  Just gotta get past the awkward tummy stage!  But we are very very excited. 

National Stock Show and RODEO

We went to the Stock Show and Rodeo in February.  Last year was my first year to go, and I enjoyed this one even more!  The bull riding and the buckin' broncos were super cool.  The whole rodeo was amazing!  It was also really fun to walk around and see all the animals and the booths.  No allergic reaction this time (after some Claritin).  Guess I'm getting used to it.. ;)

Riverwoods

 

This summer I got a really great job at the Shops at the Riverwoods in North Provo.  I got to perform regularly and learned how to work the sound equipment.  I would set up for the performances before the bands got there, hook them up and do sound checks, and make sure the sound was balanced well throughout the show.  Sam came a lot and would help me with all of the heavy speakers and sound checks.  I also got to perform a lot, and learned new songs that I could find mp3 tracks for online.  I bought most of my tracks off of Amazon, and it was interesting to sing with a monitor and microphone.  I liked being performing so often, and the more casual setting was really fun.  Here are some pictures of me performing.

Five Guys

Mel gave us a gift card to Five Guys for date nights!! It is Sam's  favorite hamburger place and I love it as well.  Here we are before going to a movie. :)
